Overview
StarGazer adds a layer of astronomy and discovery to your world. Players craft one of three telescope tiers and right-click them at night, high above the ground in the overworld, for a tiered chance to discover one of twelve real constellations. Every new discovery isn't just a personal trophy — it radiates a random celestial buff like Speed, Haste, or Regeneration across the entire server for a configurable duration, rewarding the whole community when someone reads the stars. Staff can stage dramatic sky events on demand: a meteor shower that rains fireballs and gold ingots, or a comet that drops diamonds amid dangerous, incendiary falling debris.
Features
Three telescope tiers
Craft Wooden, Iron, or Diamond telescopes with increasing chances to chart the stars.
Twelve constellations
Discover Orion, Cassiopeia, Lyra, Draco and more by stargazing at night from high ground.
Server-wide buffs
Each discovery grants a random celestial potion buff to every online player for a set duration.
Meteor showers
Staff can summon a meteor shower that rains fireballs and drops gold.
Comet events
Trigger a comet that scatters diamonds alongside dangerous incendiary debris.
Personal star charts
Track which constellations each player has discovered with /stargazer chart.
Commands
/stargazer <telescope|chart|event>Grant a telescope (telescope [tier]), view charted constellations (chart [player]), or trigger a sky event (event <meteor|comet>).
