🌋 SeismicCore

🌍 Shake the earth and crack the world open.

SpigotMinecraft 1.21 2 commands

Overview

SeismicCore brings dynamic earthquakes to your server. A triggered quake shakes the area with explosion sounds, block particles, and tremor damage to any player standing still — moving or sneaking lets you dodge the worst of it. When the shaking ends, the ground tears open into jagged fissures that descend deep into the terrain. As blocks crack apart there's a chance for ores like iron, gold, diamond, emerald, and copper to be exposed, turning a disaster into a mining opportunity. Players can calibrate a seismograph to sense distant tremors and request seismic predictions, which analyze the surrounding region and report a likely epicenter and estimated magnitude.

Features

💥

Dynamic Earthquakes

Trigger quakes of any magnitude and radius that shake the area with sound and particles over time.

🩹

Dodgeable Tremor Damage

Players standing still take tremor damage, but moving or sneaking lets them dodge it.

🏔️

Terrain Fissures

After the shaking, jagged fissures rip open across the ground and descend deep into the world.

💎

Ore Exposure

Cracked blocks have a chance to reveal ores like iron, gold, diamond, emerald, and copper.

📡

Seismograph Sense

Calibrate a seismograph to feel faint particle-and-sound cues from distant active quakes.

🔮

Quake Predictions

Request a seismic prediction that reports a likely epicenter, estimated magnitude, and time window.

Commands

/quake <trigger|predict> [args]

Trigger an earthquake (optional magnitude 1-10 and radius 5-100) at your location, or predict a likely future quake for a region (requires a calibrated seismograph).

/seismograph calibrate

Calibrate your seismograph so you can sense distant tremors and run quake predictions.

Installation

  1. 1Drop SeismicCore.jar into your server's /plugins folder.
  2. 2Restart the server.
  3. 3SeismicCore targets Minecraft 1.21 (api-version 1.21).

Configuration

config.yml tunes the default magnitude and radius, fissure depth, ore-exposure toggle and chance, tremor damage, how far the shaking is felt, and the seismograph prediction cooldown.
