⚔️ Pick a kit, hit the arena, climb the KDR leaderboard.
Overview
KitPvP turns any server into an instant battleground. Players spawn into a configurable arena, are handed a combat-ready kit, and fight while their kills and deaths are tracked into a persistent KDR leaderboard. On death, drops and dropped XP are cleared and the player respawns straight back in the arena with their last kit, keeping the action continuous. Kits define hotbar items and full armor sets and ship with Warrior and Archer examples. Admins can build new kits without editing files by snapshotting their own inventory and armor directly into the config.
Features
Configurable Kits
Define each kit's display name, hotbar items, and armor pieces in config.yml. Ships with Warrior and Archer.
KDR Leaderboard
Kills and deaths are saved to disk and ranked into a configurable-size kill/death ratio leaderboard.
Instant Respawns
Drops and XP are cleared on death and players respawn back in the arena with their last kit re-applied.
Arena Teleport
Optionally teleport players to a configured arena location on join and respawn.
In-Game Kit Creation
Admins snapshot their current inventory and armor straight into a new kit with /kit admin create.
Commands
/kit list | /kit select <name> | /kit admin create <name>List shows available kits and the top KDR leaderboard; select equips a kit; admin create saves your current inventory and armor as a new kit.
Installation
- 1Drop KitPvP.jar into your server's /plugins folder.
- 2Restart the server (built for Minecraft 1.21).
- 3Edit config.yml to define your arena and kits.
Configuration
config.yml defines the arena location, leaderboard size, join behaviors (kit-give-on-join, arena-teleport-on-join), and the kits map with items and armor for each kit.
