What the Hytale plugin generator builds
Hytale servers are extended with Java plugins loaded by the server at startup. Each plugin is a small Java project: a manifest that names it and points to its main class, the class itself, and whatever commands, listeners and data files the feature needs. Writing one by hand means learning a new API, setting up the build and packaging a jar before you can even test an idea.
The generator turns a plain-language description into that complete project and compiles it:
- A manifest.json with the group, name, version, description and main class that the Hytale server reads
- A main class extending JavaPlugin, with the constructor and lifecycle hooks the API expects
- Commands registered through the plugin's command registry, with their arguments and checks
- Event listeners registered through the event registry for joins, chat and gameplay events
- A README that explains setup, configuration and any limit of the current API
