AI Hytale 3D model generator

Hytale 3D model generator: from a description to a native .blockymodel

Describe a sword, a piece of furniture, a lantern or a creature, and the AI builds it out of boxes with a hand-painted pixel-art texture. You download a Hytale asset pack with the native .blockymodel, its PNG texture and the model asset, ready for the Asset Editor or for Blockbench.

Blocky 3D models on a workshop turntable, a frost sword half wireframe and half textured, generated for Hytale by Spaleforce

Native .blockymodel

The pack contains a real Hytale .blockymodel, laid out like the files exported by the official Hytale Blockbench plugin, not a Minecraft model renamed.

Same engine as our Minecraft models

Structure, UV layout and texture painting come from the generator behind more than a thousand Minecraft models, converted to Hytale's scale and format.

Preview and edit before export

The model opens in a 3D viewer where you can rotate it and ask the AI for changes; the Hytale pack is built from the latest version.

Textures Hytale accepts

Textures are 64, 128 or 256 pixels, multiples of 32 as Hytale requires, with every face mapped to its own region of the image.

What the Hytale 3D model generator produces

Hytale models are made of boxes and flat quads, each with a position, an orientation and a texture layout that says which part of the image covers which face. They are stored in the .blockymodel format and listed in an asset pack with a manifest. Modelling one by hand in Blockbench is precise work: placing every box, unwrapping every face and painting the pixel art.

The generator does that first pass from your description and hands you a pack that follows Hytale's layout:

  • A manifest.json at the root of the pack with its group, name and version
  • The model in Common/Items/Spaleforce/Generated as a native .blockymodel, prop or character format
  • Its PNG texture next to it, sized in multiples of 32 pixels
  • A model asset under Server/Models that links the model and its texture
  • A README with the install steps and how to open the model in Blockbench

How the model is built

Your description is first turned into a structure: named parts, their sizes and their positions, the way a modeller would block out a shape. Every face is then given its own area of the texture at one consistent density, and the materials are painted into those areas as pixel art. This is the same pipeline that produces our Minecraft 3D models, so the shapes are clean and the textures stay sharp.

For Hytale, the result is converted at export time. A Minecraft block is 16 units and a Hytale block is 32, so the model is rescaled; each box keeps its texture region and uses Hytale's stretch value to reach its real size, which is how Hytale maps one texture pixel per unit. Rotations become the quaternions Hytale stores, and named groups become nodes you can rig in Blockbench.

Using the pack in Hytale

Download the zip from the project's download panel and place it in your world's or server's mods folder. In Hytale's Asset Editor the model appears under Items, Spaleforce, Generated, where you can assign it to an item, a block or an NPC. To refine the shape or animate it, open the .blockymodel in Blockbench with the official Hytale plugin: the boxes, names and texture are all editable.

You can also keep iterating on our side first. Ask the AI to make the blade longer, change a color or add a detail, check the result in the 3D viewer, then export again: the pack is always built from the current version of the model.

What it is good at, and its limits

It works best on objects with a clear silhouette: weapons and tools, furniture and decoration, food, plants, lamps, chests and small creatures. Characters keep their named bones so they are ready to animate, but animations themselves are not exported to Hytale yet.

Connecting a model to gameplay is not automatic: an item, block or NPC definition decides how it is used, and that is done in Hytale's Asset Editor. If you need custom behaviour around the model, the Hytale plugin generator writes the server side.

How it works

  1. 1

    Describe the model

Pick a category and describe the shape, materials, colors and details you want.

  2. 2

    Check it in 3D

Rotate the result in the viewer and ask the AI for changes until it looks right.

  3. 3

    Export for Hytale

Download the Hytale asset pack and drop it in your mods folder, or open the .blockymodel in Blockbench.

Prompts you can paste

Frost sword
An ornate frost sword: pale blue crystal blade with a darker edge, silver crossguard shaped like wings, wrapped leather grip and a glowing gem in the pommel.
Tavern table
A heavy oak tavern table with thick legs, iron corner brackets, a few carved notches and two mugs of ale on top.
Mushroom lamp
A glowing mushroom lamp: wide spotted cap in teal, short pale stem, small moss patches at the base.

Frequently asked questions

Is the .blockymodel really native to Hytale?

Yes. The file follows the node, shape and texture layout written by the official Hytale Blockbench plugin, so it opens in Blockbench with that plugin and in Hytale's tools.

Is it the same generator as your Minecraft models?

Yes. The structure, UV layout and painted texture come from the same engine; the Hytale export converts the scale, the UVs and the rotations to Hytale's format.

Which texture sizes are supported?

64, 128 and 256 pixels. All are multiples of 32, which Hytale requires for textures.

Are animations included?

Not yet. Characters keep named bones so you can animate them in Blockbench with the Hytale plugin, but no animation file is exported.

Can I use a Minecraft model I already generated?

Yes. Every 3D model project has a Hytale export in its download panel, so models made for Minecraft can be exported as Hytale packs too.
