Free Minecraft resource pack generator: block textures repainted by AI and exported as a .zip at no cost

Textures cost nothing

Since September 23, 2026, AI textures cost 0 generations and never touch your plugin or mod quota.

200 textures a day, free

The free plan draws one texture at a time, up to 200 per day and per account. Enough for a full block pack.

Your own style, your version

No more hunting for a random pack that almost fits: you set the art direction and the Java version (1.13+).

Failed textures come back

If a texture fails, it is given back automatically. You never lose part of your daily allowance for nothing.

What is actually free, and what is not

Plenty of tools call themselves free and then stop you at the download button. Here is the full picture. The resource pack studio, the AI textures, the 3D preview, the pixel editor, the saved projects and the .zip export are all available on the free plan. You only need an account, which you create by signing in with Google. No card is asked for at any point.

AI textures are a gift on every plan. They cost 0 generations, so repainting a hundred blocks leaves your plugin and mod generation quota exactly where it was. What the paid plans change is speed and branding, not access to the tool.

On the free plan, textures are drawn one at a time. Each one waits about ten minutes in the free queue before it is drawn, and each account can receive up to 200 free textures per day. The allowance resets every day, so a big pack simply takes a few sessions.

  • Free account through Google sign-in, no credit card
  • AI textures cost 0 generations on every plan
  • Free plan: one texture at a time, about 10 minutes of queue each, 200 per day
  • Export the .zip whenever at least one texture is replaced

Free plan vs Pro and Ultimate

Pro (€20 per month) and Ultimate (€50 per month) remove the waiting. Textures skip the free queue, there is no limit on how many are queued at once and there is no daily cap on textures. If you want to repaint two hundred blocks in one evening, that is the difference.

The second difference is the credit on the export. A pack exported on the free plan carries a small Spaleforce logo in the corner of pack.png, a description that reads “Generated on https://spaleforce.com” and a GENERATED_BY_SPALEFORCE.txt file at the root. Pro and Ultimate exports carry no Spaleforce mark at all.

Everything else is identical: the same AI, the same rendering modes, the same 3D preview and pixel editor, the same version support. A free pack is not a lower-quality pack, it just arrives more slowly and says where it was made.

How to make a full texture pack for free, step by step

Start small and plan your queue. Because free textures are drawn one after another, select a first family of blocks, such as all the planks, and let it run. You can close the page: the pack keeps filling in on our side and the finished textures are waiting in My Projects when you come back.

Write the art direction before the first batch and save it as the pack style. Every later batch then follows the same palette, even when you add blocks days later. Keep one rendering mode for the whole pack so pixel art and HD textures never end up side by side.

Spread the rest over the week. With 200 textures per day, the blocks most players look at, such as stone, dirt, grass, logs, planks, ores, bricks and glass, fit comfortably in the first day or two. Decorative variants can come later, and you can export a fresh .zip after each session.

Making your own pack vs downloading a random free pack

Free packs from unknown sites are a gamble. Some mirrors wrap the download in adware installers or ask for a “launcher” you never needed. A pack you generate yourself is a plain .zip of PNG files and a pack.mcmeta, built from your own project, with nothing else inside.

Downloaded packs also rarely match your exact version. A pack made for an older release can show the “made for an older version” warning, miss newer blocks such as copper or cherry wood, or leave half your world vanilla. Here, the block list, the vanilla textures used as a starting point and the pack_format in pack.mcmeta all follow the Java version you picked.

Finally, it is your style. Instead of settling for someone else's idea of medieval or modern, you describe the look you want and adjust any block you dislike. You can use the pack in your own worlds and on your server, where players receive it through the resource-pack link in server.properties.

What the free generator covers

The studio repaints block textures, the files under assets/minecraft/textures/block, for Minecraft Java Edition 1.13 and later. Blocks drawn as entities, such as chests, signs and beds, are left out, and animated textures get a single frame.

Items, mobs and interface screens are not part of the pack. To repaint menus and inventory screens, use our free Minecraft GUI generator: it turns a description into a 256×256 pixel-art GUI texture, with 10 free generations per day.

Frequently asked questions

Is the Minecraft resource pack generator really free?

Yes. You need a free account (Google sign-in), and no credit card is ever requested. AI textures cost 0 generations, and the free plan draws up to 200 textures per day.

Why does my texture wait before it is drawn?

On the free plan, textures are drawn one at a time and each one waits about 10 minutes in the free queue. Pro and Ultimate skip that queue.

Do textures use my plugin or mod quota?

No. Since September 23, 2026, AI textures are a gift: they cost 0 generations and leave your plugin and mod generation quota untouched.

Is there a watermark on free packs?

The free export credits Spaleforce: a small logo in the corner of pack.png, a pack description reading “Generated on https://spaleforce.com” and a GENERATED_BY_SPALEFORCE.txt file. Your block textures themselves carry no mark. Pro and Ultimate exports carry no Spaleforce mark.

What happens if a texture fails?

It is given back automatically, so it does not count against your 200 daily textures.

Can I use my free pack on my server?

Yes. Host the .zip somewhere with a direct download link and set it as the resource-pack in server.properties.

Does it work for Bedrock Edition?

No. The generator makes packs for Minecraft Java Edition 1.13 and later.

Can I repaint the inventory and menus too?

Not in this tool, which covers block textures. Use the free Minecraft GUI generator for a 256×256 pixel-art GUI texture made from a description.
